Job Description — AI Intern at Quest Global

As an AI Intern at Quest Global, you will be a core technical contributor in designing and developing scalable, real-time integration systems for warehouse automation. This is a highly hands-on role — not a passive learning assignment. You will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics, and enterprise software, directly impacting how modern warehouses operate.

You will collaborate daily with solution architects, operations teams, and robotics vendors to build APIs, event-driven middleware, and automation workflows. Your work will connect cutting-edge hardware — including AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots), AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), Geek+ robots, Exotec systems, PLCs, conveyors, and scanners — to enterprise platforms like ERP and MES systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Design & Development

Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable applications and middleware using AI and advanced automation concepts. You will own the full development lifecycle — from architecture to deployment.

2. Robotics Integration

Build real-time integrations between Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) with hardware platforms, including AMRs/AGVs, Geek+, Exotec systems, and conveyor systems.

3. API & Middleware Development

Develop APIs and event-driven microservices using protocols such as:

  • REST APIs

  • MQTT

4. Enterprise Connectivity
